Here’s a quick summary of the Sony Press Conference!
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy: The standalone spinoff got a new gameplay trailer. The game has Chloe Frazer as the main character, who works with Nadine Ross in order to find and protect an artifact from Indie. It has a lot of that classic Uncharted action!
Call of Duty: WWII: Call of Duty got a new Playstation trailer that showcased various new environments. Small glimpses of gameplay here and there. Some of the locations of the game was revealed: The Ardennes Forest in Belgium, Aachen in Germany and Normandy in France. The game features a new Divisions system and still includes a Zombie mode.
Days Gone: Sony showcased a new trailer featuring human enemies as well as hoards of zombies. In the gameplay they showed how you could use the zombies to get rid of dangerous groups.
Destiny 2: Bungie wants to focus heavily on the story in Destiny 2 and take you on a journey through the universe where you meet characters that has a lot of personality and motivation. They’re also adding the ability for solo players to find other groups to play Raids with.
Detroit: Become Human: The trailer introduced a new character called Marcus. He’s played by Jessy Williams from the show Grey’s Anatomy. Marcus is one of the robot characters who questions their reality. The trailer also included a deeper view into gameplay.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR: Play Skyrim in VR!
Final Fantasy XV: Monster of the Deep: FFXV goes VR. In Monster of the Deep you’ll use your fishing skills to catch all kinds of sea creatures. You’ll also be able to spend time with the other characters of the game.
God of War: Sony showed off some brand new footage of God War that features Kratos and his son. The game is brutal as usual but also seem to have a bit of humor. The trailer also showed us a massive creature called the World’s Serpent. Kratos’ son seems to be able to talk to this creature who says that he wants to help.
Horizon Zero Dawn DLC: Zero Dawn gets a new expansion that takes Aloy to the snowy wilderness, called The Frozen Wilds.
The Inpatient: Supermassive announced a new game, called The Inpatient. It’s a spooky, first-person title in PSVR that features moments of psychological horror. Seems to take place in a sanatorium.
Monster Hunter: World: Capcom’s popular monster hunting series returns to Playstation.
Shadow of the Colossus Remake: Sony announced that the popular and beautiful adventure game gets a remake for Playstation 4.
Spider-Man: Insomniac Games could finally show off their new game, Spider-Man. It has impressive graphics, lots of Spidey action and swinging from building to building. The combat looks similar to the Batman games and Spider-Man seems to be more experienced. Miles Morales may be in the game. According to the game’s description, it’s “Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before”.
